The Age of Hyper-Reality is a small found text publication consisting of an essay originally published and distributed online during the 1980s. The essay was written anonymously and is written in response to Jean Baudrillard’s writings on hyperreality. Baudrillard’s writings on hyperreality discuss how technological advancements create a “hyperreal” society through the ever increasing prevalence of signs and cultural signifiers.
