Zine by Camp Books
Documents compiled on the 50th anniversary of the revolutionary people's constitutional convention. Planned and hosted by the Black Panther Party. 4-7 September 1970. Philadelphia
The Revolutionary People's Constitutional Convention was an immense achievement of intersectional, multicultural cooperation, hosted by the Black Panthers during a time in which they were relentlessly and often bloodily persecuted by the police on both a local and federal level. Between 6,000 and 15,000 people were estimated in attendance from Lesbian Liberation, Chicano, Asian American, Anti-Vietnam, pro-Palestine, and others from the Free Speech movement, youth movements, and both anti-imperialist and socialist backgrounds.
